2010 winter olympics, day 14: ladies giant slalom, day2
so on day 13 (posted below) the ladies giant slalom was postponed after the first run because the visibility was unsafe and rescheduled for the following day….which was awesome! could have used some sunlight peaking through that fog…but i was happy with what i made. i usually shoot so super tight it was nice to back up and show some scenery..all and all great end to my ski days!
ugh….horrible weather
so for the end of the games there were some really bad shooting days. horrible fog moved in and combining that with heavy heavy snow the visibility was literally 20ft in front of you…trying to shoot an athlete coming down a mountain at 80+km/h that cant see where theyre going just as badly as you cant see them makes for some really crap photos. my partner patrick mcdermott and i made photos nonetheless, but as youll see….what can ya do???
